My name is Aubrey Studebaker. I am a Los Angeles artist focusing on both natural and urban landscapes while also dabbling in portraiture. Born, raised and educated in Indiana, I quit my cubicle in July of 2011 and moved to Los Angeles to pursue art full time.
Henri Matisse once said "I believe in God when I paint." He also said "Creativity takes courage." I totally agree. Painting is my therapy, brings me closer to the ultimate Creator and is always a huge challenge. More than that, though, it is a medium that can bring joy to others. And I like that best.
